Grandparent’s Rights

A grandparent’s love is very important to a grandchild.

The relationship between grandchild and grandparent is often unmatched.  When life-changing events such as divorce threaten to diminish that bond, an experienced attorney can often protect the grandparent’s rights.

Visitation may be granted as part of the parents’ divorce, legal separation or paternity action.  Visitation may also be granted if one of the parents is deceased.

The Court will always consider the best interest of the children.

Sometimes grandparents have become long-term caregivers of grandchildren whose parents are absent.  We understand the legal challenges for grandparents in these situations.

We are committed to assisting families through conflict and transition and have been doing so for over 40 years.
